JOHN WADSWORTH

JOHN WADSWORTH has lived in West Hartford Connecticut for over 25 years.  He is a retired IT manager and has been an avid fly fisher since youth, and a fly tyer since college.  Some of his fondest recollections are of catching wild native brook trout in small streams in eastern Connecticut, and fishing for native alewives in a tidal creek next to his boyhood house.  Protecting and preserving the environs these fish live in is important to him.   An avid kayaker and canoer, John takes binoculars along for watching birds and looking for trout rise forms.  Since retirement John has become active in fishing-related outreach.  He is looking forward to working on conservation efforts associated with wild native fishes.  John can be reached at Info@nativefishcoalition.org
