CODY SCHULTZ

CODY SCHULTZ was born in the Midwest, but moved to Virginia near the nation's Capital where he is employed as a tech worker. Like many NFCers, his passion for wild native fish came about as a result of learning to fly fish. Unlike many, he did so pursuing anadromous American Shad, not a more popular species such as brook trout, redeye bass, striped bass, or redfish. Cody used the pandemic to learn about the great array of native fish species found in the tidal waters of the Potomac River. An urban angler, he realizes that we can all do our part to positively influence native fish conservation. Cody also enjoys trips to Shenandoah National Park to fish for wild native brook trout, and exploring the rich history of District of Columbia.  He can be reached at Info@NativeFishCoalition.org
