PATRICK WEDDEL

PATRICK WEDDEL lives in Midlothian, Virginia.  He is an avid fly fisherman and has fished all over the state.  From a young age, Patrick’s father exposed him to the wealth of natural resources found throughout Virginia.  Patrick is intimately familiar with many of Virginia’s wild native brook trout streams.  He enjoys being an ambassador for low impact angling and catch and release, as well as conservation.  Patrick has a bachelor’s degree in Earth and Environmental Science from Wilkes University.  He has worked in the environmental field since graduation in 2003.  Patrick currently works for Henrico County Public Works, Engineering and Environmental Services, as the Environmental Compliance Supervisor, providing guidance and environmental oversight on all active construction projects in the county to ensure adherence to erosion control, stormwater management, and pollution prevention laws.  He has also worked for Orvis for over a decade, passing on his passion for fly fishing and education of our wild native fish to the community.  Patrick can be reached at Info@NativeFishCoalition.org
