MATTHEW NORVILITIS is an undergraduate Aquatics and Fisheries major at State University of New York College of Environmental Science and Forestry. He has been heavily involved in a biomonitoring project on Onondaga Lake through ESF, serves as president of the local chapter of the American Fisheries Society, and is doing undergraduate research on pond-dwelling brook trout in the Adirondacks with the Arsenault Lab. Matthew is an avid angler with a special interest in wild native coldwater fish. He looks to use his role with NFC to focus on rehabilitating and managing wild native salmonids, as well as educating his peers in the field and classroom.
