Alabama Gets Redeye Bass Signs

The Friends of the Talladega National Forest worked with Alabama NFC and other agencies and organizations to help educate the masses in regard to the wild native redeye bass found in the nearly 300,000 acre Talladega National Forest.

To date, FTNF has posted over 20 informational signs on U.S. Forest Service property and various other public places in Coosa and Tallapoosa watersheds notifying anglers and others as to the presence of redeye bass, and the threats to them.

Special thanks to Adam Dasinger, Board Member, Alabama Pinhoti Trail Association, Friends of the Talladega National Forest, and Alabama NFC Chair Matthew Lewis for stepping up for our wild native fish.
